WHAT IS THE HURRICANE VALLEY FOOD PANTRY?
The Hurricane Valley Food Pantry (previously belonging to Dixie Care and Share) supports families facing food insecurity. This pantry is a joint effort of Five County Community Action, the City of Hurricane, the Utah Food Bank, and the Hurricane Valley Community.
The purpose of emergency food boxes is to prevent food insecurity for low – moderate income households*. Case management and information about other community resources is also available. No household will be turned away for emergency food.
* A household includes any individual or group of individuals who are living together as one economic unit.
